Logistics Operations Management Manage and oversee all local logistics operations in Spain, including: Vehicle allocation and distribution Import operations and customs clearance Warehousing and inventory management Vehicle delivery to dealers and end customers Ensure smooth coordination between HQ logistics teams and local operations. Monitor logistics KPIs (lead time, delivery accuracy, damage rate, cost efficiency). 2. Logistics Strategy & Network Optimization Develop and implement a local logistics strategy aligned with the company’s overall supply chain and business objectives. Optimize logistics network design to support market expansion and volume growth. Continuously improve logistics processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and service quality. Propose and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service standards. 3. Supplier & Partner Management Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), including: Transport companies Warehousing partners Customs brokers and service providers Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and periodic reviews. Ensure suppliers meet service level agreements (SLAs), cost targets, and compliance requirements. 4. Cost Control & Budget Management Prepare, manage, and control the logistics budget for Spain. Monitor logistics costs and analyze variances versus budget and forecast. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and productivity improvements. 5. Risk Management & Compliance Ensure full compliance with Spanish and EU regulations related to logistics, customs, transport, and vehicle handling. Identify logistics risks (capacity constraints, delays, regulatory changes) and implement mitigation plans. Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit requirements, and HQ logistics standards. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales and After Sales teams to ensure timely vehicle availability and delivery. Collaborate with Finance on cost control, invoicing, and budgeting. Act as the main logistics interface between Spain operations and HQ supply chain teams. 7. Continuous Improvement & Reporting Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations. Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, risks, and improvement actions. Support management with data-driven insights and recommendations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations roles Mandatory experience working in Spain, with solid knowledge of local logistics and customs processes Experience in automotive, industrial, or FMCG sectors is highly preferred Proven experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs) English: Fluent Spanish: Fluent Strong knowledge of: Vehicle logistics and distribution processes Import/export and customs clearance procedures Warehousing and transport operations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid cost control and budget management capability Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and suppliers Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing organization. .
