Are you a chemistry professional with a strong regulatory & compliance background looking to make a tangible impact in a fast-growing and innovative Swiss material science company?
We’re looking for a Regulatory/Compliance and Product Stewardship Specialist to join our team and manage product stewardship of our textile auxiliaries for the woven, non-woven and knits industries and support new developments in the plastics and leather sectors to ensure global compliance with prevailing norms. This is a part-time (40–60%) on-site role based in Pfäffikon, SZ.
Tasks
What You’ll Do:

Develop and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) in compliance with GHS and REACH standards

Identify chemical components affected by upcoming regulatory bans and restrictions
-
Support Innovation and R&D teams in risk assessments and compliance for hazardous substances

Guide supply chain and operations teams in shipping hazardous materials across global jurisdictions
-
Stay ahead of and ensure compliance with key global regulations: REACH, BPR, Prop 65, TSCA, POP, etc
-
Provide support for certification processes (e.g., Bluesign, ZDHC, GOTS, AFIRM) in collaboration with our contract manufacturers in Switzerland and India

Develop product stewardship documentation in line with these certifications and global quality control standards, e.g. ISO 9001

Liaise with stakeholders to resolve shipping bottlenecks and jurisdictional compliance challenges in Asia, EU, and the Americas
Requirements
What You Bring:

Master’s degree in Chemistry
-
Solid hands-on experience in chemical regulatory compliance

Experience with materials compliance and familiarity with the textile & non woven industries is a plus
-
Exposure to quality management standards like ISO 9001
-
Strong understanding of hazardous goods shipping and related legal frameworks

Familiarity with global certification processes in textile-related industries

Fluent in English, with a good command of German
-
Proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and clear communication skills
