As a Senior Product Engineer, you will work across the full stack, contributing to both modern microservices and existing platforms while delivering impactful product features end-to-end. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve real-world customer challenges and improve system performance at scale. The role combines technical depth with product thinking, giving you the autonomy to drive initiatives from idea to production. Operating in a fully remote, international setting, you’ll help build scalable systems that power seamless business interactions. Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and scale backend services using TypeScript and Node.js within a microservices architecture
- Contribute to and maintain existing systems, including PHP/Laravel-based applications
- Develop user-facing features and internal tools using modern frontend frameworks such as React
- Own product initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and design to implementation, deployment, and iteration
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
- Enhance system architecture by integrating new services with legacy components
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance through best engineering practices
- Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and the evolution of engineering standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering within product-focused environments
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js for backend development
- Proven experience delivering features or projects end-to-end with a high level of ownership
- Solid understanding of product development, with the ability to align technical solutions with user and business needs
- Experience working with both modern architectures and legacy systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus
- Experience with PHP and frameworks like Laravel is advantageous
- Frontend development experience with React is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment
- Based in Europe with valid work authorization
