This role sits at the heart of global HR operations, ensuring the accurate and compliant management of time, attendance, and employee lifecycle processes across multiple jurisdictions. You will act as a key expert supporting employees and clients on complex Time & Attendance matters, helping to ensure legal compliance while delivering a seamless employee experience. Operating in a fully remote, international environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including payroll, legal, and HR teams. The position combines operational precision with advisory responsibilities, requiring strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset toward process improvement and automation. It is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, distributed teams and is passionate about building scalable, compliant HR systems that support a global workforce.
Accountabilities:
- Manage end-to-end Time & Attendance processes, including leave, working hours, sick leave, public holidays, and time tracking across multiple regions
- Act as a subject matter expert on employee lifecycle and Time & Attendance matters, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and collective agreements
- Support employees and clients with accurate guidance on employment regulations and legal interpretations
- Collaborate with internal teams such as payroll, legal, and operations to ensure seamless and compliant HR processes
- Handle complex cases and employee inquiries with precision, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Maintain and update internal documentation in line with legislative changes and operational needs
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and improved efficiency across workflows
- Support audits and compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, systems, and employee experience initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing employee lifecycle processes with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience in HR operations, Time & Attendance, or similar HR/shared services roles
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive or complex conversations professionally
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Tech-savvy, with experience using tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, or Google Workspace
- Comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous, and fast-paced international environment
- Strong problem-solving mindset with an interest in process improvement and automation
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Interest in AI and its application in HR operations is an advantage
