Accountabilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for ETL pipelines and large-scale data warehouse environments using Python and Pytest

Create and manage realistic test datasets that simulate production-scale workloads and probability distributions

Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to validate deliverables, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality releases

Execute database and integration testing activities, including SQL validation, data modelling verification, and ETL quality assurance

Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and testing automation processes while aligning with cloud engineering standards and workflows

Monitor, track, and report testing activities through tools such as JIRA while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with technical standards, documentation requirements, and testing best practices across all development phases
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

5+ years of experience in automation testing, with strong expertise in database and ETL testing environments

Advanced proficiency in Python and Pytest for automated testing design and implementation

Strong hands-on experience with SQL, CTEs, window functions, facts/dimensions modelling, and data warehouse development

Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, integration testing tools, and cloud-based delivery pipelines

Experience working with AWS infrastructure and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts, including CloudFormation

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently in remote, distributed teams

Fluent English communication skills and eligibility to work within Europe without sponsorship requirements
