Job description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a HR People Operations Specialist in Germany.
This role sits at the heart of a globally distributed, remote-first organization, ensuring that core HR operations run smoothly and efficiently across teams and time zones. You will play a key part in building and maintaining the operational backbone of the People function, supporting processes that directly impact employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. The position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment. You will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to ensure consistency, compliance, and clarity in all people-related processes. This is a highly impactful role where structure, reliability, and people-first thinking come together. You will also contribute to improving HR systems and workflows while supporting a culture of trust, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
Accountabilities:
- Manage and support day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of core processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring a seamless and consistent employee experience.
- Maintain accurate HR records, systems, and documentation, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support time-off tracking, policy adherence, and basic compliance processes across distributed teams.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and leadership to align on people operations workflows and reporting needs.
- Assist in improving HR systems, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Provide responsive support to employees and managers, acting as a go-to contact for HR-related queries.
- 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, people & engagement, or project coordination roles.
- Experience working with HR systems, spreadsheets, and collaborative digital tools.
- Strong understanding of core HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, records management, and time-off tracking.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort handling HR data and operational reporting.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to explain HR processes clearly to non-HR stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
- High level of discretion, reliability, and respect for data privacy and confidentiality.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with adaptability in fast-moving environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a people-centric and approachable attitude.
- Interest or exposure to crypto, fintech, or technology-driven organizations.
- Experience working in globally distributed or remote-first teams.
- Fully remote, flexible work environment with global collaboration.
- Competitive compensation package.
- Career development and long-term growth opportunities.
- Mentorship and continuous learning support.
- Supportive, collaborative, and knowledge-sharing team culture.
- Team-building activities, both virtual and in-person.
- Access to learning resources and professional development opportunities.
- Flexible, autonomy-driven work culture focused on outcomes.
