This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Data Engineer to join an international, fully remote environment focused on building scalable and efficient data solutions. In this role, you will work closely with an established team of experts to accelerate the development of modern data pipelines and analytics infrastructures for a UK-based client. You will contribute to the design, optimization, and maintenance of cloud-based data systems using advanced technologies such as Snowflake, SQL, and ETL tools. Accountabilities:

Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data architectures to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Build and maintain advanced SQL procedures and transformations within Snowflake environments to ensure efficient data processing and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to support the delivery of reliable and high-quality data solutions for international stakeholders.

Work with ETL processes and tools, including supporting integrations and orchestration activities related to data workflows.

Contribute to the migration, transformation, and management of large datasets while ensuring data integrity and consistency.

Support the continuous improvement of data engineering practices, automation processes, and system performance optimization.

Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues across data platforms and infrastructure.

Communicate effectively with remote international teams and contribute proactively within Agile development environments.
Requirements:

3 to 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or related technical roles.

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL development, including the creation of SQL procedures.

Solid understanding of ETL concepts and experience working with modern data transformation workflows.

Familiarity with Matillion or similar ETL tools is considered a strong advantage.

Experience working with AWS services, particularly S3 storage, is a plus.

Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and cloud-based data architectures.

Ability to work independently in fully remote and international environments while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with strong attention to detail.

Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

Experience with Agile methodologies, Git, CI/CD processes, and collaborative development practices is highly desirable.
