Accountabilities:

Participate in the complete application lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

Contribute to the development and scalability of payment systems supporting the full transaction lifecycle, fraud prevention initiatives, and compliance requirements.

Integrate and maintain multiple payment methods and collaborate with external payment service providers.

Work closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to define and deliver user-centric solutions.

Ensure high platform reliability, performance, and scalability through strong engineering and operational practices.

Share technical expertise with cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to architectural and technical discussions.

Collaborate within an agile engineering squad while taking ownership of backend services and payment-related features.
Requirements:

5+ years of backend software engineering experience within fast-growing or product-focused environments with strong engineering standards.

Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with frameworks and tools such as Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, and Mockito.

Practical experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring/observability solutions such as Datadog.

Solid understanding of service-oriented architectures and the ability to apply suitable architectural patterns when needed.

Experience building scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend systems in production environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
