Join us as a Learning Experience Designer intern within the R&D Coffee Academy team at our international headquarters in Utrecht, starting in September 2026. The R&D Coffee Academy is a key learning initiative aimed at strengthening technical knowledge, collaboration, and expertise across the global R&D community. As part of the Academy, in‑depth expert modules are developed and delivered by senior subject matter experts across topics such as coffee processing, quality, safety, packaging, consumer science, and sustainability. As a Learning Experience Designer intern within the R&D Coffee Academy team, you will play an active role in translating expert knowledge into engaging, structured, and digital learning modules.
Your key activities will be:

**Design and digitise expert modules **

Work closely with senior topic owners and subject matter experts to understand learning objectives, key content, and target audiences in R&D.

Decide together with topic owners what the learning experience should look like, for example: Online vs. blended vs. in‑person (Use of videos, self-paced modules, workshops, or assignments)

Use existing materials (e.g. presentations, expert input, past training content) and convert them into updated digital modules using tools such as Easy Generator, PowerPoint, Canva and M365 Copilot.

**Define skills & competencies per expert module **

Review the expert modules from an R&D skills perspective.

Identify and clearly describe: Which skills and competencies each module develops (e.g. technical understanding, applied problem‑solving, scientific thinking, cross-functional collaboration).

Create a competence/skills framework per module that can be used across R&D.
