The **Finance Application Specialist **is responsible for the operational support, stability, and continuous improvement of finance applications within Global Business Services (GBS). The role operates within an international environment, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a key link between business and IT for applications supporting Global Transactional Finance (GTF) processes

Ensure finance applications are stable, maintained, up to date, and available with minimal downtime

Monitor system performance, manage incidents and problems, and coordinate system changes

Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions in collaboration with the lead architect

Oversee day鈥憈o鈥慸ay error monitoring and issue resolution

Communicate and collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure alignment and transparency

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within transactional finance systems, including automation and optimization

Stay up to date with latest technology developments and apply them to improve system performance and usability
