As Senior Sales Manager Global, you will be responsible for the support and further development of a customer group or market. You will have extensive experience in international sales and take a leading role in the development and implementation of sales strategies. Your focus will be on building and maintaining long-term customer relationships as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities. Actively shape the future of the company and make a significant contribution to the success of our sales department!

 

 

Your tasks:

 

  • You will develop and implement account strategies and manage a customer group or market.
  • You build long-term customer relationships and maintain existing partnerships.
  • You identify new business opportunities and analyze market trends and competitive activities.
  • You conduct offer and contract negotiations and coordinate the acquisition process strategically and operationally.
  • You create sales reports and forecasts and ensure data quality in the CRM.
  • You will represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to expand your network.

 

Necessary knowledge:

 

  • Degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in international sales, ideally in a comparable position.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to analyze complex customer requirements and develop suitable solutions.
  • High degree of initiative, results orientation and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
  • Language skills: English at least at level B2; knowledge of German is an advantage.

 

Desired knowledge:

 

  • Very good understanding of automotive value chains.
  • Affinity for business models in a digital context.
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and a data-driven approach to managing sales processes.
  • Ability to work in international teams and support customers in different cultural contexts (intercultural competence).
