Your main mission will be: Develop and implement a diverse entertainment schedule, including live music, shows, cultural events, sports activities, and family-friendly programs
Your main functions will be:
• Develop and implement a diverse entertainment schedule, including live music, shows, cultural events, sports activities, and family-friendly programs
• Organize special themed nights, holiday celebrations, and seasonal events
• Hire, train, and manage entertainers, activity coordinators, and event staff
• Train and oversee entertainment staff to ensure professionalism and efficiency
• Collaborate with animation team to provide interactive guest experiences (e.g., dance classes, fitness sessions, kids’ clubs)
• Plan and oversee the execution of large-scale events such as pool parties, beach bonfires, gala dinners, and private celebrations
• Monitor guest engagement and gather feedback to continuously improve offerings
• Interact with guests to promote activities and encourage participation
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, performers, and venue staff to ensure seamless event execution
• Oversee the event timeline, logistics, and production details
• Ensure compliance with local laws, permits, and safety regulations
• Curate and book entertainment acts such as musicians, DJs, comedians, or speakers
• Collaborate with artists, agencies, and production teams to deliver high-quality performances
• Research entertainment trends and incorporate innovative experiences

What do we expect from you?
• Good organisational, communication and planning skills
• Proactivity, dynamism with multi-tasking skills and good time management
• Honesty, integrity and a high sense of responsibility
• User-friendly computer skills, PMS, POS (Protel operating system or similar)
• Excellent knowledge of Portuguese, English and Spanish, as well as knowledge of otherlanguages such as French, Italian and German.
• Proven experience in 4/5-star hotels (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in event planning, entertainment management, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of AV production, stage design, and event technologies.
• Fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring flexibility.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday work based on event schedules.
• Creativity in event and entertainment program development.
• Able to reside in Island of Maderia, Portugal.
