The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement provides central co-ordination and delivery of property management, information technology, procurement, project management, transportation, and other services to government ministries and agencies.
The Operations and Service Delivery (OSD) Division at SBP is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Executive Director. Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, this position provides leadership and direction for programs and services that support the ministry鈥檚 provincial property portfolio.
The Executive Director leads a diverse, multidisciplinary branch and plays a key role in advancing service excellence, innovation, and strong partnerships across government and with external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be recognized for integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to lead through change in a complex and dynamic environment.
As Executive Director, Building Services, you will:

Provide strategic direction, service standards, and accountability frameworks for program delivery, performance monitoring, fiscal management, and evaluation;

Lead and develop a team of professionals to achieve the branch strategic and operational goals;

Represent the ministry in government-wide initiatives;
-
Demonstrate leadership experience in internal controls, public sector accountability, financial management, program evaluation and government decision-making processes;

Exhibit excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, backed by proven leadership and management experience;

Build and maintain professional relationships and partnerships with both external and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and consensus;

Exercise sound judgment and discretion when addressing confidential and sensitive matters;

Manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment, while remaining adaptable and self-motivated;

Understand risk management as well as occupational health and safety concepts and best practices.

Typically, the聽capabilities and skills聽required to be successful in this position would have been obtained through several years of progressive leadership experience, ideally within public sector management. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preparing and presenting executive-level materials such as briefing notes, budgetary materials and/or complex data sets.
