Global SAP IT Inhouse Consultant Finance & Controlling (f/m/d) FI/CO

Responsibilities:

To strengthen our global Finance organization within Corporate Process & Information Management (CPIM), we are looking for a Global IT Inhouse Consultant Finance & Controlling with strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and global template environments.

 

CPIM is the global function responsible for designing, governing, and continuously improving FHCS core business processes and their supporting IT systems. Within this setup, Finance plays a key role in ensuring standardized, compliant, and efficient global operations.

 

In this position, you are the central interface between Finance business functions and IT. You drive process excellence, ensure global template governance, and actively contribute to our S/4HANA transformation journey.

• Business Interface: You act as the primary point of contact for global business units for all SAP Finance & Controlling-related topics.

• Template Ownership: You take end-to-end responsibility for the global SAP FI/CO template, ensuring its stability, consistency, and continuous improvement.

• Process Design: You analyze new business requirements, design fit-for-purpose solutions, and implement them in close collaboration with key users.

• End-to-End Processes: for core Finance areas such as FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR and selected Controlling modules, you assume global process responsibility.

• S/4HANA Transformation: To shape future-oriented and standardized process landscapes, you actively contribute to Finance-related S/4HANA initiatives.

• Project Management: You plan and execute Finance IT projects in cooperation with internal stakeholders as well as external service providers.

• Governance & Compliance: You ensure global process governance and support compliance-related topics such as SAF-T reporting, e-invoicing, and hyperinflation accounting.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or comparable.

• SAP FI/CO: Profound hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO, ideally with a consulting or key user background.

• Functional Expertise: Strong knowledge in at least two Finance areas, e.g. FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-PA, or Profit Center Accounting.

• Global Templates: Experience working in international, global template and rollout environments.

• Analytical Mindset: A structured, analytical working style combined with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Ownership: A high level of ownership, accountability, and solution-oriented thinking.

• Communication: Confident communication in English and comfortable interacting with international and cross-functional stakeholders.
