About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
The Role of Housekeeping Coordinator:
The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor is looking for a Housekeeping Coordinator to join our pre-opening team. The Housekeeping Coordinator is an essential member of the Housekeeping team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Housekeeping team works tirelessly behind the scenes making sure that every Guest Room and Public Area is impeccable at all times. The Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible and knowledge on the process and duties of Rooms Controlling.

Communicates closely and regularly with Front Office Rooms Controllers in terms of room assignments and readiness according to arrival report.

Has knowledge of the operations/responsibilities of an order take and ensuring all calls are dealt with to meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotels.

The Housekeeping Coordinator helps dispatch guest requests, allocates rooms, control the rooms inventory and assists colleagues and guests in any possible way.

Keeps informed of any extraordinary or emergency situations are relates to Supervisor or Managers including any guest complaints or problems.

Redirects guests’ requests to the appropriate with guest and team with highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotel.

Records all follow-up actions required in telephone log book

Performs inventory accurately and on a timely manner as per Four Seasons Hotel.

Records following documentations accurately and completely

English communication ability good written and spoken English skills are essential.

Computer proficiency with MS, Excel and Word. And ability to use the property management systems such as Opera systems, HotSos systems.

Able to work in shift
Our Ideal Housekeeping Coordinator will have:
Our ideal Housekeeping Coordinator candidate have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skill. High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic is essential. The ability to multitask and prioritise is also required for this position. Applicants must be comfortable dealing with high volume of calls. It is also required minimum two years of experience as a in a similar role in an international hotel or resort. Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English and Spanish is also required.
Must have the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish.
