Job Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Flow Assurance Engineer to join Krakow TechnipFMC team and be a part of our Global Flow Assurance team. In this role, you will solve complex flow assurance challenges across project phases using industry leading simulation tools - within a truly global TechnipFMC team spanning seven locations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities

Modeling & Simulation: Conduct flow assurance studies using industry-standard tools like OLGA and PIPESIM to analyze multiphase flow and thermal behavior.

System Design: Develop and optimize subsea and pipeline system designs, including wells, flowlines, and risers, to ensure operational integrity.

Risk Mitigation: Analyze risks related to hydrate formation, wax deposition, and sand erosion, and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Project Support: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate flow assurance solutions into overall project plans and participate in design reviews.

Digital Integration: (For Online roles) Develop and maintain real-time multiphase flow models that integrate with live industrial data systems.

Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical reports, project specifications, and user documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.

Mentoring: Support and mentor junior flow assurance engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and training.

Client Interface: Interface and collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders on flow assurance and operability matters.

Research: Contribute to research and development activities, including enhancement of internal tools, models, and engineering workflows.
Required Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering

Experience: Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience is preferred for senior roles, though relevant professional experience can compensate for formal education.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in OLGA multiphase flow modeling

Ability to interpret P&IDs, well schematics, instrument datasheets, and pipeline alignment sheets

Solid understanding of multiphase flow, thermal hydraulics, and production chemistry

Strong analytical, communication, and technical report writing skills

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders

Knowledge of Python (or similar programming tool) is a added advantage for automation and digital integration

Soft Skills: Proactive problem-solving mindset, structured work approach, and excellent communication skills
The role requires willingness to work 4 days in a week from our Krakow office
