The Research Analyst will be responsible for the collection, automation, cleaning, analysis and validation of data related to critical minerals and metals supply chains. Your efforts will make a real difference in helping Fastmarkets to achieve its ambitious growth plans and expand its critical minerals and metals coverage.

Principal Accountabilities

Collect, maintain, and produce data to support understanding of critical minerals and metals production across key regions

Monitor regulatory developments — trade policies, tariffs, incentives, and environmental regulations — and analyse their impact on the critical minerals and metals value chain

Map and analyse market relationships, including ownership structures, offtake agreements, and key supply-chain dynamics across the critical minerals and metals industry

Collaborate with the consulting team to provide data, analysis and research support for client-facing advisory projects

Identify and implement opportunities to automate data collection, cleaning and validation processes using scripting, APIs or other tools
