The business operates with a Microsoft cloud-first view across all pillars of technical delivery and needs to provide a seamless experience as far as possible, across both Windows and Mac user communities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

End User Compute: Support and administer end user devices across both Windows and Mac estates, all managed through Microsoft Intune – including device build, enrolment, patching, application delivery and endpoint security. Provide hands-on support to users in the office and remotely.

Microsoft 365: Help administer the Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and identity in Entra ID. Carry out routine admin tasks such as user lifecycle, licensing, groups, permissions and basic troubleshooting.

Service Delivery & Support: Act as an escalation point for the Service Desk, working 2nd/3rd line incidents and requests across the three pillars. Collaborate with 3rd party partners to resolve issues and follow through to root cause.

Assurance, Governance & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to asset lifecycle, patching, backups and recovery processes. Work alongside Information Security to uphold agreed standards, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the IT estate.
