The Role
- The Associate Project Manager (APM) supports delivery across Fastmarkets by coordinating day-to-day project activities and keeping work on track. Reporting to the Head of Change, the APM works with business and technology teams to clarify objectives, maintain plans and actions, and provide clear progress updates.
This role is focused on stakeholder coordination, meeting facilitation, and delivery reporting. The APM organises workshops, captures decisions and actions, maintains RAID and key documentation, and escalates risks and blockers promptly to the Project Manager/Change Manager for the initiative (or the Head of Change if none is assigned)
Principal Accountabilities

Keep assigned initiatives on track by maintaining schedules, milestones and action logs, and following up to close agreed tasks

Improve delivery coordination by keeping stakeholders aligned through clear day-to-day communication across business, technology and third-party teams

Reduce delivery risk by keeping RAID (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies) up to date, tracking actions to closure, and escalating blockers promptly to the Project Manager/Change Manager (or the Head of Change if none is assigned)

Support timely third-party delivery by coordinating vendor/partner meetings and deliverables, tracking actions, and flagging risks or slippage to the appropriate owner

Enable clear decisions by producing concise status updates (progress, RAG, risks/issues and next steps) and contributing to reporting packs for senior stakeholders

Increase delivery momentum by organising workshops, capturing decisions and actions, and keeping delivery tools and documentation up to date

Make project information easy to find and reliable by maintaining a central documentation repository with appropriate version control and access
