Introduction to the Team
As a Network Engineer I, you’ll join an experienced group of engineers to support the design, deployment and operation of our enterprise and data center networks. You’ll take on well-defined tasks within larger projects, help troubleshoot production issues, and learn how we design for scale, reliability and security while being encouraged to ask questions, propose ideas, and challenge the status quo.
In the Role You Will

Support the day-to-day operation of enterprise and data centre networks.

Assist with implementing and validating network changes.
-
Perform periodic LODO (Lights-Out Data Operations) tasks such as software upgrades, patching, failover testing, and network health audits.
-
Monitor intake channels and respond to or escalate issues as required.
-
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, gathering relevant data and escalating when necessary.
-
Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
-
Continuously build knowledge of infrastructure, tools, and standards.
-
Assist in developing monitoring tools and automation to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
-
Support testing and development of automation for LODO tasks.
-
Contribute to building AIOps capabilities, including data ingestion, pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
-
1–2 years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or a related technical role.
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
-
Relevant certification (e.g., Palo Alto PCCET, Arista ACE Level 1, Cisco CCNA, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or similar).
-
Experience contributing to network implementations or production deployments (projects, internships, or professional roles).
-
Ability to configure enterprise-grade network hardware with guidance.
-
Foundational knowledge of networking concepts:
-
Routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, subnets, ACLs, NAT)
-
Basic understanding of wireless networking, including RF planning and tuning.
-
Basic understanding of physical and virtual networking and how they interoperate.
-
Exposure to public or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
-
Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go).
-
Basic knowledge of:
-
Next-generation firewalls (NGFWs)
-
Secure Web Gateways
-
Zero Trust Network Access (e.g., Palo Alto, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA)
-
Ability to follow standard processes and collaborate effectively for troubleshooting.

Willingness to participate in weekend on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
-
Experience with cloud networking concepts (VPCs, security groups, gateways, load balancers).
-
Exposure to network observability and monitoring tools (e.g., NetFlow/IPFIX, SNMP, APIs, Datadog, LogicMonitor, Catchpoint).
-
Familiarity with network automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
-
Experience with PKI infrastructure and certificate lifecycle management.
-
Experience assisting in post-incident investigations.
-
Demonstrated interest in emerging networking, cloud, and automation trends.
The total cash range for this position in Prague is Kč592,500.00 to Kč829,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to Kč948,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
