Eurofins Environment is looking for a skilled and dedicated chemist for a permanent position as a development chemist at our laboratory in Vejen. The position is initially targeted at a forthcoming 4-year development and research project, which is carried out in collaboration with a large number of Danish and international partners.
In connection with the 4-year R&D project, we offer you the opportunity to do an Industrial PhD in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen.
You will work on a project aimed at developing and implementing an AI‑assisted decision‑support tool to help wastewater treatment plants optimize their treatment processes. The tool will be based on non‑target screening (NTS) analysis of micropollutants combined with AI‑supported mechanistic modelling. It is expected to predict micropollutant fate, removal efficiency, and associated risks.
The project will be carried out in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen (KU) and several other partners, including wastewater treatment plants.
We offer an exciting job where you will be greatly challenged and where you will have a direct impact on the development of tomorrow’s methods for environmental analysis. You will become an important part of our dedicated and talented team and work closely with the department's other chemists and technicians. Due to the upcoming R&D project, you will have a broad collaboration with Danish and international partners from both the private and public sectors. You will also work closely with Eurofins cross-border sister companies. So, there is good opportunity for international collaborations.
Basically, you will become part of a dynamic and fast-growing international company.
