HR Generalist
About the role
As HR Generalist, you will support the implementation and administration of a wide range of agreed HR programs and activities, ensuring compliance with Essity HR processes, policies, and local labor legislation. You will work with well-established guidelines, with access to support from other HR professionals, to deliver high-quality HR services to the business.
In this role, you will provide **HR support across different functions and Business Units, mainly serving teams within Supply Chain, Digital Transformation & Business Enablement, and Sales & Marketing. **You will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees across these areas, supporting both operational and labor-related HR topics while contributing to consistent and positive employee experience.

What You will do

HR Process Delivery & Compliance: Ensure HR activities are executed in line with agreed HR processes, policies, and applicable legal and labor requirements.

Business & Employee Support: Act as a trusted advisor to HR, line managers, and employees, providing professional guidance and support within assigned HR activities.

Process Improvement & Harmonization: Propose and support local adaptations to harmonize HR processes and improve efficiency and service delivery.

HR Projects & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to overall HR process delivery by providing input, participating as a process team member, and engaging in HR projects at local and international levels.

Tools & Systems: Apply and maintain relevant HR tools and systems, including Workday and Microsoft Office, ensuring data accuracy and process consistency.

Employee Attractiveness & Engagement: Support Employer Branding and Employee Attractiveness initiatives, contributing to a strong service and people-focused culture.
Who You are

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Operations role.

A master’s degree in law or Labour Relations, with a master’s in human resources preferred.

Solid knowledge of core HR processes such as performance management, talent management, and compensation reviews.

Proven experience managing labor relations topics, including terminations, works councils or unions, disciplinary actions, Equality Plans, and organizational changes.

Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with a collaborative and business-oriented mindset.

Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.

Comfortable working with digital tools and HR systems, including Microsoft Office and Workday.
