As a Fortune 100, Nasdaq-listed provider, we connect clients to the global markets – focusing on innovation, human connection, and providing world-class products and services to all types of investors.Whether you want to forge a career connecting our retail clients to potential trading opportunities, or ingrain yourself in the world of institutional investing, StoneX Group is made up of four business segments that offer endless potential for progression and growth.

Business Segment Overview: Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies.

Position Purpose: We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Senior Product Designer to support and evolve our financial platforms and mobile applications, delivering best-in-class user experiences across web and mobile. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, secure, and high-performing digital products tailored to financial users. You will combine strong UX expertise with modern AI-powered design tools to enhance workflows, improve decision-making, and accelerate delivery. The role requires clear communication of design thinking, as well as effective stakeholder management within a complex financial environment.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

  • Own the design of product features and journeys, driving solutions from discovery through to delivery
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, explore solutions, and support prioritization
  • Design solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
  • Simplify data-heavy, transactional, and decision-critical workflows into clear, effective experiences
  • Apply AI tools and data-driven approaches to improve design quality, speed, and insight generation
  • Contribute to product direction within your domain through strong product thinking and design input
  • Take ownership of outcomes within your area, ensuring solutions deliver measurable impact on user and product performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion, efficiency, and reduce risk across key journeys
  • Make well-reasoned design decisions within your scope, balancing speed, quality, and complexity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on solutions and drive execution forward
  • Contribute to and strengthen design systems and UI patterns to support scalable and consistent product development
  • Ensure high-quality execution across interaction, visual design, and usability
  • Communicate decisions clearly, including trade-offs, risks, and rationale
  • Support and mentor junior designers, developing their skills in craft, product thinking, and execution
  • Promote best practices and drive the effective use of AI within design workflows

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Proven experience in a Senior Product Designer role, within financial services, fintech, or complex product environments
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating impact on product outcomes and user experience, not just design outputs
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design tools, including systems and prototyping
  • Strong product thinking, with the ability to connect user needs to business goals
  • Experience working with data, metrics, and experimentation to inform decisions
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and applying them effectively in real workflows
  • Ability to balance user needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and risk considerations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence within cross-functional teams
  • Experience designing for complex systems, data-heavy interfaces, and transactional journeys
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership within defined or semi-ambiguous problem spaces
  • Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and continuous improvement

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or data-rich environments
  • Experience designing complex systems and workflows
  • Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of front-end technologies and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
  • Experience building or contributing to design systems
  • Experience working on AI-powered features, machine learning products, or intelligent systems

Regulatory Requirements

  • Maintain high standards of conduct, ethics, and integrity
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies across all jurisdictions
  • Proactively identify risks and contribute to strengthening controls across the business

Education / Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

Working environment:

  • Hybrid role, 4 days in-office.
