We are looking for a new Country Manager to lead Endress+Hauser (Baltic) UAB. Our office is based in Kaunas. Endress+Hauser (Baltics) UAB plays an important role for the Region of Europe. Endress+Hauser (Baltic) UAB operates in Lithuania as well as in Latvia. Overall the team consists of 11 employees, who look forward to a new leader. Endress+Hauser (Baltics) UAB is a smaller organization where pragmatism, proximity to customers and hands-on leadership are key to success.

 

What is the role about?  

You will be the inspiring leader of Endress+Hauser (Baltic) UAB and the lead a team in two countries (Lithuania and Latvia). You will have a big impact in the success and future of Endress+Hauser (Baltic) UAB by developing the market. Along with your team, you will be closely  working together with customers, the Head of Regional Support Center Europe, the Business Development Manager, and various other internal and external stakeholders. 

  

Which tasks will you perform?  

You will:  

  • Take responsibility for running the company locally, covering all functional areas and stepping in wherever needed while leading a motivated team of 11 employees with different areas of expertise
  • Analyze and ensure market development for Lithuania and Latvia while actively meeting the customers and understanding their needs 
  • Plan and create sales tactics specific for the market including identification of opportunities and making decisions that are aligned with the Endress+Hauser vision 
  • Support the execution of the Sales, Service and Marketing activities and analyze performance development in partnership with the respected Business Development Manager 
  • Lead the team (total of 11 employees in two countries) by shiny example, ensure that Endress+Hauser values are implemented and lived daily 
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction, retention, attraction including and ensuring (trade) compliance 
  • Provide long-term business plan ensuring stable, sustainable market growth 
  • Hire, evaluate, and develop employees and ensure business continuity 
  • Align with the regional leadership team and give input for the rolling forecasts 
  • Participate in forming market development strategies 
  • Have legal representation responsibilities on local entity level 

 

What do we expect from you?​  

You:  

  • Preferably hold a masters’ degree of a university, a background in chemistry or biology would be a plus
  • Have gained some leadership experience with a positive leadership style or if you have less leadership knowledge, you enjoy developing others, give clear orientation and are motivated to grow into a formal leadership role with our support
  • Are fluent in Lithuanian and English, Russian or Latvia language skills would be a plus  
  • Are highly motivated by taking responsibility for two countries with an entrepreneurial, disciplined, committed and strategic mindset 
  • Have proven sales skills in regards of consultative selling in a B2B market 
  • Are customer, results and problem-solving oriented 
  • High transparency and leadership integrity are your key elements of leadership
