We are entering an important phase of strategic development: balancing legacy operations with transformation, growth ambitions, and the building of a strong international tourism brand. To support this journey, we are looking for a strategy professional who can help own and drive our strategic agenda.
This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to move beyond advisory work and take real ownership of strategy, decisions and execution. This Role will report to Chief of Strategy and People (CSPO).
**What you’ll do **

Formulate Hurtigruten’s long-term strategy.
Facilitate development of Hurtigruten’s long-term strategic plan in close collaboration with the CEO, CSPO and Executive Leadership Team.

**Lead market & competitive analysis **
Analyse market dynamics, competitive landscapes and structural trends, translating insights into clear strategic implications, priorities and trade-offs.

**Connect strategy to execution and monitor progress **
Support the group-level OKR process, ensuring strong alignment between strategic priorities and operational execution. Monitor and report progress on strategy implementation and KPI’s, ensuring focus and accountability over time.

Own strategic initiatives
Lead selected cross-functional strategic projects—from problem definition through analysis, decision support and implementation.

**Communicate and anchor strategy **
Help articulate strategy clearly and pragmatically, ensuring alignment across leadership and the wider organisation.
Who we are looking for

~4-7+ years of experience from top-tier strategy consulting, corporate strategy, internal consulting or similar roles

Proven ability to work closely with senior executives and ELT-level stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience turning ambiguity into actionable decisions

Comfortable leading complex, cross-functional initiatives

A hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with high personal production capacity

Strong communicator, able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences

Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering or similar (MBA is a plus)
