WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

You lead and design cloud architectures for our customers, with a particular focus on AWS.

You advise companies on the development and implementation of their cloud strategies, including cloud migrations and integrations.

In doing so, you will be responsible for designing and documenting technical solutions, ensuring the highest performance, scalability and security in the AWS environment.
-
You will perform architecture assessments and technical audits to ensure solutions meet best practices and industry standards.
-
Working with customers to understand their business needs and design customized cloud solutions will be part of your role.

Finally, you will provide leadership to technical teams and assist in the technical development of junior architects.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
-
Intermediate/advanced level (3-4+ years of experience in cloud engineering)
-
Strong, demonstrated experience with the AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.)

Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK)
-
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
-
Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash or similar)
-
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
-
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana)

Able to navigate a complex, multi-service AWS environment confidently

Proactive, strong problem-solving skills, good communicator

Experience with data product teams and working closely with data engineers, data scientists or similar roles

Willingness to contribute to workstreams beyond cloud engineering, e.g. development of data pipelines

Experience with the CAP platform (VW-specific) is a plus.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
