We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) for a minimum duration of 6 months starting on June 1st, 2026 in the field of Public Charging & Operations to support our team in the planning, evaluation and implementation of projects related to public charging infrastructure.
In this role, you would work at the interface of technology, economic efficiency and project management while actively contributing to the sustainable mobility of tomorrow.
Depending on the project phase and your individual interests, you may contribute to the following tasks:

Supporting **feasibility studies as well as economic and site analyses **for public charging infrastructure.

Assisting in the evaluation of structural, technical and infrastructural conditions.

Supporting the development and application of digital planning tools for site and grid evaluation.

**Creating and visualizing layout concepts **(e.g. in Visio, AutoCAD or Revit).

Preparing, structuring and presenting project and analysis results in PowerPoint and Excel.

Supporting the coordination of planning and alignment processes with internal and external stakeholders.

Conducting planning inquiries, capacity requests and data research.

Contributing to ad-hoc analyses and special topics from adjacent departments.

Supporting a digital lead management and dispatching tool.
Your profile

You are currently enrolled as a student (m/f/d) in** industrial engineering with a focus on construction/civil engineering, civil engineering, electrical/energy engineering, **infrastructure management or a comparable technical or business-related degree program.

Ideally, you have gained first practical experience (e.g. through internships, projects or working student positions) in construction, infrastructure, the energy sector or project management.

You have very good MS Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of GIS systems, CAD software or Visio is considered a plus.

You work in a structured, analytical and independent manner and are interested in techno-economic topics.

You enjoy preparing complex topics in an understandable way and taking responsibility.

You have **very good German and English language skills **(minimum C1 level), both written and spoken.

You are willing to work in a hybrid setup, i.e. mainly remotely with occasional on-site appointments in Mannheim.
