Your area of work:
Clearstream Risk Management is responsible for the identification, assessment, quantification and reporting of financial and non‑financial risks across the Clearstream group. Within Risk Management, the ICAAP Integration & Steering unit has end‑to‑end responsibility for capital planning, ICAAP framework integration, and capital-related risk steering across Clearstream entities.
As Head of ICAAP Integration & Steering, you will lead and coordinate Clearstream’s ICAAP-related activities, including capital forecasting, stress testing, regulatory interaction and management reporting, and ensure a consistent and forward‑looking view on capital adequacy under all relevant regulatory regimes.
This position is a temporary replacement until end of September 2027.
Your responsibilities:

You take full responsibility for the design, coordination and continuous enhancement of the ICAAP framework and capital planning processes across Clearstream entities

You steer multi‑year capital forecasts under baseline and adverse scenarios, including stress testing methodologies and scenario analysis

You coordinate ICAAP‑related activities across Risk, Finance, Treasury and Regulatory Reporting, ensuring consistency, data quality and timely delivery

You are responsible for ICAAP documentation, internal governance processes and capital‑related management reporting up to Executive Board level

You act as the main point of contact for regulators and auditors on ICAAP, capital planning and capital adequacy topics

You lead, develop and prioritize the ICAAP Integration & Steering team’s work program and contribute to strategic risk and capital initiatives
Your profile:

You have successfully completed a university degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration or a comparable field

You have at least 7 years of relevant professional experience in capital planning, ICAAP, risk management or regulatory frameworks within a financial institution

You have strong expertise in capital adequacy regulation (e.g. ICAAP Guidelines, CRR/CRD) combined with excellent analytical skills and a structured, solution‑oriented approach

You have proven experience in leading and developing teams, including workload prioritization, coaching and fostering collaboration

You combine strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex risk and capital topics clearly to senior management and regulators

Proficiency in written and spoken English; French/German language skills will be an asset
