Your area of work:
Clearstream Fund Centre Risk Management is responsible for measurement, controlling and reporting of operational, business, liquidity, market, and credit risks of the Clearstream Investment Funds Services (“CFS”) Segment.
This fixed-term position is focused on the management of non-financial risks across the full risk management lifecycle, including identification, assessment, control, and reporting, in line with the internal risk management framework. The role will primarily cover operational and business risk, as well as business continuity management, with responsibility for monitoring the risk profile of the entities within the CFS Segment on both individual and consolidated basis, reporting to the Head of Non-Financial Risk and Operational Resilience.
This position is a temporary replacement until end of May 2027.
Your responsibilities:
- Supporting the identification, measurement, monitoring and reporting of the non-financial risks which CFS may be exposed to including its participants and their clients as well as other financial parties and systems
- Monitoring of incidents, ensuring adequate identification of impacts, as well as timely remediation and escalation
- Participation in the risk management reporting process, including the preparation of both internal and external reports focused on non-financial risk
- Execution of the yearly risk assessment process for CFS, including the preparation of the documentation for each relevant business area, update/development of risk scenarios and Key Risk Indicators in collaboration with the 1 LoD and ensuring timely approval and documentation of the exercise
- Conducting the risk assessment and advising the business units regarding the implementation of new products and services, outsourcing arrangements, and IT-Risk matters
- Explaining complex concepts to experts and non-experts using analytical skills, creativity, critical thinking, and the ability to see the big picture
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing risk concepts, policies, and procedures
- Contributing to the implementation and execution of relevant regulations (Basel III, CSSF, CRR, etc.)
Your profile:
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on non-financial risk and business continuity management.
- In-depth understanding of Luxembourg and EU laws and regulations related to risk management.
- Knowledge of local and European risk management principles, regulations, and standards.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently on complex projects.
- Enjoy working in an international and diverse team environment.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are an asset.
