Your mission
Most product manager ads start with what they want you to do. This one starts with what we are short on. We have decade-deep ESG expertise. We need a Product Manager who is strong on the "how" of getting product shipped.
Datamaran is an ESG governance SaaS platform used by companies like Bridgestone, Dell, Cisco, Kraft Heinz, and PepsiCo. We have been doing things differently since 2014, before ESG was even a category. Our platform spans four products: Suite, Core, Regulatory Monitoring, and Harbor+.
You will own a workstream end to end. You write the requirements, push back on engineering when it matters, and ship features customers actually use. This is a real product role, not a backlog manager role.
In this role, you will:

Run discovery with customers and our in-house ESG experts to figure out what your workstream needs to do next

Translate insights into stories, specs, and prototypes engineering and design can build from

Work day to day with engineering and design teams alongside you in Valencia

Stay close to client signal through calls with sales and customer success

Own the metrics for your workstream and use them to call your next move
Your profile
You will thrive here if you:

Have owned a product or a major feature end to end as a Product Manager, with the call on what gets built and why, not as a Product Owner reporting to a PM

Bring at least 4 years in product, with the last 2 in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally in a complex domain like RegTech, fintech, healthtech, or govtech

Have shipped a product feature with LLMs or agentic workflows in the last 12 months. Using ChatGPT does not count

Read enough code to talk to engineers in their language, even if you do not write production code

Bring structure to ambiguous problems, since customers and regulators do not arrive with clean specs

Involve engineering and design early, not after the deck is final

Bring real interest in ESG, sustainability, regulatory or compliance topics, even if you are not yet an expert
