Welcome to the Medical Writing & Biostatistics team
Joining our passionate team within Chronic Care Commercial at Coloplast HQ in Humlebæk, you will be welcomed into a tight-knit and high-performing team consisting of 5 medical writers and 3 biostatisticians. Together with our close colleagues in Clinical & Medical Affairs, we collaborate to generate a robust evidence base for our innovation projects and existing product portfolios to support market access and commercial teams across the organization.
About the role
As a Medical Writer, you will support evidence generation and commercial activities across multiple stages from early product development to post-market clinical follow-up activities. From literature reviews and input to the study design phase to authoring the study reports, you will produce clear, compliant clinical documentation for regulatory purposes. You will also author reports from evidence generation activities beyond clinical studies like case series, market research surveys and product evaluations. Across the evidence base, you will help shape scientific publications with the project team.
Your responsibilities include authoring and submitting manuscripts and abstracts to biomedical peer-reviewed journals and conferences. In doing so, you will identify and recommend target journals and conferences, lead the development of the manuscripts to communicate our clinical evidence effectively, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
In addition to your medical writing tasks, you will contribute to developing and continuously improving our internal processes and best practice sharing across the team. Your place to work will be in Humlebæk, Denmark.

A university degree in health care, medical, or life sciences, preferably a PhD

Exceptional written English communication skills, characterized by clarity and conciseness

Experience in medical writing, preferably within the pharma/medtech industry, covering clinical study reporting and publication of clinical evidence in peer-reviewed journals
