Your role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our product team and take full ownership of a core slice of our platform. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, operations, and real customer problems — turning ambiguous challenges into well-defined, reliably shipped product.
This isn't a coordination role. You'll be close to the work, making daily decisions that directly shape what gets built and how. You'll own both customer-facing features and the internal infrastructure that powers our operations — from installer onboarding and KYC to invoicing and credit workflows.
You'll report to our Co-Founder & CPO and work within a cross-functional squad alongside engineers and designers. From your first week, your work will reach real customers.
Your mission
- Translate customer, commercial, and operational needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria — turning vague problem spaces into concrete, buildable solutions.
- Own and continuously refine your product backlog, ensuring work is well-prioritised, well-scoped, and ready for engineering to pick up.
- Run product discovery — talk to installers, dig into usage data, study competitor approaches, and validate assumptions before committing engineering time.
- Work closely with engineers daily to clarify scope, navigate trade-offs, and unblock execution.
- Drive initiatives through development, testing, and release, ensuring features ship reliably and with high quality.
- Own your product area end-to-end — from identifying opportunities and defining strategy to shipping, measuring outcomes, and iterating post-launch.
- Use AI tools as a natural part of how you work — for research, writing, analysis, and prototyping. We're an AI-native team and expect this to be part of your default workflow.
Your profile
We care more about how you think and what you've built than where you've been. Here's what will set you up for success in this role:
- 5-10+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a software-driven environment, with a track record of shipping product that moved real metrics.
- Strong experience with backlog ownership, story writing, and working closely with engineering teams on a daily basis.
- The ability to go from a vague problem space to a clear product direction through research, structured thinking, and good judgement under uncertainty.
- A pragmatic approach to trade-offs between speed, quality, and scope — you know when to ship and when to push back.
- Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information — you identify what needs solving and move forward without waiting to be directed.
- Experience running discovery: user interviews, data analysis, usability testing, or other methods to validate direction before building.
- You thrive in environments where urgency is the norm, not the exception.
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Based in Berlin and energised by being in the room. We're intentionally office-first — decisions get made in real time, prototypes get stress-tested over lunch, and the founding team is ten metres away. If that's how you thrive, you'll feel at home here.
Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience with B2B fintech, embedded finance, or process-heavy internal tooling.
- German language skills, given our installer base and internal stakeholders.
Don't meet every requirement? Apply anyway. We hire for potential and perspective — credentials are a starting point, not a ceiling.
How we hire
We keep things transparent and respect your time. Most go from first call to offer in under three weeks.
- Intro call (30 min) — We want to understand what you're looking for, not just screen your CV.
- Hiring manager interview (30 min) — We go deep: your experience, your thinking, how you approach problems.
- Case study (1 hour) — You get the brief in advance. We care about your approach — not whether you land on the right answer.
- Offer & signed contract.
