Your insights and deep expertise in the Central Eastern European countries’ oncology & haematology market access and pricing environment will directly influence the strategy for CEE pricing including the IRP pricing impacts, price solutions, business cases, product launches and market access activities for the Oncology business.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the successful implementation of global Market Access Strategies in the CEE region ensuring that all initiatives meet the national regional and local needs set out by the individual country heads.

Provide strategic guidance and ensure the dossiers meet HTA requirements, optimize price potentials and MEAs implementation.

Support Global / EMEA MA challenges by understanding and addressing the impact of internal and external changes on capabilities and needs, and tailor, define and implement the best MA strategies, standards, and processes to achieve the best possible access and excellent execution of access in CEE region

Responsible for cascading the access and pricing strategies by engaging directly with key internal and external stakeholders and co-ordinating launch and post launch access and pricing activities, including:

Planning and strategy execution

Successful implementation of access and pricing strategies in CEE region

Assist the local teams in dossier preparations, discussions, and negotiations with HTA authorities.

Commercial orientation to support business objectives and support business cases preparation.

Supporting the countries and EMEA/global teams in devising strategies for launch plans, launch sequence, IRP impacts, providing creative solutions, and advice on MEAs implementations.

Cross-functional leadership

Work closely across multiple levels of the Menarini Stemline organization, from Local affiliates to Regional/Global HQ, interacting with multiple internal stakeholders, to cascade the MA access and pricing strategy in the region.

Aligning local strategies and initiatives with the global vision and sharing this knowledge internally.

Provide leadership for CEE region on Access and Pricing activities within the market access teams, ensuring the delivery of the overall MA and pricing strategy on time and as planned.

Gain input from relevant functions to help in the preparation of the business cases and price approvals.

Project management and execution

Participating in advisory boards to provide the CEE regional perspective.

Prepare and oversee the CEE region projects that support countries access ambitions and optimize patient access.

Coordinate the execution timelines set out in business plans and keep the internal stakeholders fully informed on the progress, successes, and deviations of the plans.
Qualifications

Ability to travel >50%

Strong understanding of the current and future CEE region’s market access and pricing environment.
-
Good knowledge of the drug development process and commercialization environment in the CEE region with proven track record of successful contribution to projects.

Proven track record of supporting market access, regulatory or commercial function in launching products (including those with a biomarker strategy).

Demonstrable success in terms of pricing and reimbursement in the CEE region.

Leading multi-level teams directly and indirectly (leadership without authority).

Knowledge of overall drug development process.

Credible, in-depth knowledge and experience of the implementation of CEE Markets Access and Pricing strategies.

Ability to present a well-reasoned business case and influence other departmental leaders to support cross functional implementation of new initiatives and projects.

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external opinion leaders including pharmaceutical regulatory agencies, national HTA bodies, as well as influential sub-national HTAs.

Ability to create and communicate a tailored Access and Pricing strategy, to the local affiliates, who will be making the local HTA and reimbursement submissions.
