**Job purpose **
Provides strong support on the execution of Performance & Monitoring tasks at RPI Commercial - Asset Planning & Optimization, acting as focal point for Global LP Model for continuous plants’ operation improvement; in order to support the Commercial Function in the implementation and effective monitoring of the plans and continuous improvement by analyzing gap-to-potential and reconciliation of monthly accounts for cross border supplies (international price vs. Domestic price),
The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.
Main tasks and responsibilities

Execute / Assess Refinery (RPI plants) Performance & monitoring.

Execute the Identification of the gaps between planned and actual performance of LP model.

Perform back-casting analysis, based on actual market figures and actual performance.

Prepare cost / benefit analyses of planned and unplanned events.

Identify bottlenecks and suboptimal operation and provides recommendations for overcoming them.

Identify possible opportunities for enhancing performance and guide the team on how to close the gaps.

Interact with Commercial & Downstream, JV Partners, Governmental entities, Auditors, External Vendors, Ministries

Execute KPIs with respect to the performance management process.

Analyzes performance results and reports them accordingly guiding on best practices.
Key interactions
Internal: Commercial & Downstream - RPI - OPM
External: Governmental entities, Auditors, External Vendors, Ministries. Specialized Contractors, Vendors & Suppliers.
**Notable Working Conditions. **Office environment, intensive computer screen use, sporadic visits to operation site.
Education requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
**Language requirements **
Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) Arabic - Native (desirable)
