Business Analyst & Agile Master (f/m/d)

 

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst & Agile Master (f/m/d) to strengthen our Digital Investment Management cluster. In this position, you have the opportunity to play a key role in the optimisation, harmonisation and global expansion of our Digital Investment Management services.

 

You will be part of a cross-functional squad and report to the Business Analyst and QA Chapter Lead. We are committed to making “simplicity at scale” happen, combining business expertise with technology to deliver state-of-the-art solutions for our distribution partners.

 

This role will be based in Frankfurt or Munich.

 

What you will do

 

As a Business Analyst:

• Partner with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to understand business needs and shape digital solutions
• Translate requirements into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams
• Produce functional and non-functional specifications and conceptual solution designs aligned with architectural and governance standards
• Collaborate with architects, developers and integrators to ensure technical solutions align with business requirement and architectural standards
• Support solution delivery including test coordination, production rollout and operational handover
• Manage relationships with external vendors and internal clients to ensure successful implementation and service delivery

 

As an Agile Master:

• Coach the team in Agile principles and delivery practices, helping foster a culture of ownership, transparency and iterative improvement
• Identify and remove impediments and cross-team dependencies to ensure smooth delivery of sprint goals
• Promote strong collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to maintain alignment on priorities and delivery objectives
• Monitor delivery performance using Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time, flow efficiency) and drive data-informed improvements
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring effective collaboration and continuous improvement

 

What you bring

 

• Degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of experience in delivering technology solutions, ideally in investment or financial services
• Strong experience in Agile delivery environments
• Proven business analysis experience in complex IT initiatives
• Fluency in English both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
• Strong understanding of Distribution models and digital ecosystems within Asset & Investment Management
• Strong knowledge of wealth management products and digital investment platforms
• Experience with digital distribution journeys, including client onboarding and analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to translate complex systems and processes into clear business language
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders
• Experience with Microsoft CoPilot desired
• Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills
• Passion for continuous improvement and high-quality delivery
