This role is an internship in our 70-strong global investment team. You will be supporting the whole private equity investment lifecycle: deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio monitoring

You will be part of either our Flagship (Astorg VIII) or Midcap investment team and will work across all three of Astorg's priority sectors (healthcare, technology, business services)

Day-to-day responsibilities

Supporting formation of investment theses on potential acquisition targets

Performing research to gather information about companies of interest

Conducting operational and financial modelling
-
Preparing syntheses, analyses and memos to present businesses internally

Presenting points of view on investment opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
-
Numerical / business degree preferred (Maths, Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Physics, etc.), with outstanding academic track record (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, X, Mines, Centrale, Ponts...)

Previous internship experience in M&A investment banking, Management Consulting or Private Equity is highly preferred

Native or fluent French speaker with fluent English mandatory. Other European languages (German, Italian) an advantage
