Context
We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to join a high-impact Payments initiative within a large-scale, international, and innovation-driven environment.
The role supports a critical International Payments activity and is embedded in a squad-based delivery model operating in a distributed IT landscape.
This position is a replacement, requiring a highly experienced and immediately operational Functional Analyst with proven Payments domain expertise. The focus is on analysing and securing business continuity for international payment flows, working closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and international counterparts.

Role & Responsibilities

Perform functional analysis of business activities within the Payments domain.

Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams within the Payments/IP squad.

Capture, analyse, and formalise business requirements related to international payments.

Translate business needs into functional specifications suitable for implementation in a distributed (Java-based) environment.

Act as a key interface between business, development, and testing teams.

Support ongoing interactions with international teams, including coordination with stakeholders.

Contribute to functional documentation, workshops, and clarifications throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Ensure continuity and knowledge transfer within the team as part of a replacement assignment.
