Department Description
The ROV Unit onboard Allseas’ vessels is a dedicated team operating Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to perform underwater tasks with precision and efficiency. The ROV Unit provides support to Allseas pipelay, construction, inspection and survey operations in a safe and efficient manner. They perform maintenance and repair in an adequate and cost efficient manner with the aim to reduce or eliminate operational downtime of ROV spreads.
Job Description
Provide ROV support to Allseas pipelay, construction, inspection and survey operations, in a safe and efficient manner, and perform maintenance and repair in an adequate and cost efficient manner with the aim to reduce or eliminate operational downtime of ROV spreads.
Qualifications & Experience

BSc. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar, as per IMCA R002 - Entry level requirements for ROV personnel

IMCA C005 Competence guidelines and competence tables - Remote systems and ROV division

Experience with Work Class ROV systems

Nominally, 360 days as ROV Pilot Technician with satisfactorily completed company assessments

Minimum 2 years with ROV construction, installation, survey support on offshore vessels

Good knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, electronics, mechanics, high voltage and fibre optics
