Department Description
The Naval Architecture Department specializes in the marine aspects of both commercial projects and new strategic developments, focussing on vessel design, modification, and operation. The team of Naval Architects takes charge of a range of engineering responsibilities, including ship stability and global strength, motion behaviour in offshore conditions, dynamic positioning and propulsion, mooring, hydrodynamic analysis, and system integration. Next to that, the department contributes to the preparation and support of marine offshore operations.

Basic understanding of concepts and principles in own discipline and a basic knowledge of these elements in other disciplines.
