Job Description
- Define and continuously improve / adapt the overall test plan in close cooperation with other stakeholders within the V93 R&D organization
- Plan the specific test activities based on new features, known bugs to achieve an optimal balance between test coverage and test execution time
- Integrate security testing, secure-by-design validation, vulnerability handling processes, and incident response test coverage into the overall test strategy, ensure traceability against CRA security requirements
- Continuously enhance & adapt data collection and reporting to improve transparency of test execution on all layers to provide status information on quality level
- Continuously enhance test automation, including regression suites and automated security scans into CI/CD pipelines
- Drive activities for improvement by identifying hot spots of low quality in software
- Analyze currently used tools and standardize testing and quality processes to ensure as much as possible a common approach in all teams
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure strong alignment of Quality assurance strategy and test strategy including streamlined QA reports and test reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Minimum 7 years industry experience in security testing and software development
- Experience as Test Manager for large software projects, including best practices and tools in the different test levels (e.g. module, integration, system test)
- Experience applying AI-supported tools and methods to enhance test coverage, accelerate defect detection, or optimize test suite maintenance
- Solid knowledge of security testing methodologies: vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, fuzz testing, SAST/DAST, threat modeling
- Understanding of the European Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and its implications for software testing, security documentation, and conformity evidence
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards relevant to CRA (e.g. OWASP, IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ETSI EN 303 645)
- Strong commitment to agile quality practices and a data-driven approach to test improvement
- Very good communication skills in English
- Experience working with globally distributed teams (Japan, Germany, China, US, India).
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in regulated environments (ASPICE) and tracing of test records
- Background in cybersecurity roles (e.g., security engineer, security champion, security architect)
- Having led an agile team as product owner, scrum master or project manager
- Experience in scaled agile environments (e.g. SAFe)
- German or Chinese Language skills
