V93000 R&D Hardware Architect (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Consult worldwide project teams to map technical requirements into appropriate Hardware-instrument designs, comprising Hardware, Software, FPGA and Test-processor aspects.
• Drive a future evolution of the V93000 platform architecture to allow new applications on the V93000 and extend the total addressable market.
• Ensure architectural integrity and long-term maintainability of the V93000 platform.
• Drive common architectural standards and effective re-use across the R&D organization to strengthen development efficiency.

Qualifications

Must Qualification

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven system architect experience in complex Hardware/Software systems
• Ability to understand and work in complex systems, familiarity with systems thinking
• Superior communication skills (cross hierarchy levels, cross-functional, cross-cultural)
• Ability to communicate own ideas clearly and present complex issues in a simple and understandable way.
• Provide strong leadership and mediation between different development teams
• Ability to simplify essential complexity without introducing accidental complexity

Want Qualification

• Good understanding of the semiconductor test market and related challenges
• Good understanding of the semiconductor test equipment hardware and usage
• Effective network and recognition in the semiconductor test market
• Ability to travel to other R&D development sites (e.g. Japan, US, other parts of Germany) to work with the project teams abroad (<5% of the time).
