R&D PCB Layout Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description

As a PCB Layout Design Engineer you will be part of the hardware development department and responsible for schematic entry and layout design of complex PCBs. This includes the following tasks:

• Ensure schematic designs comply with internal standards and applicable regulations.
• Design and optimize PCB layouts considering signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, thermal, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support design reviews and implement feedback and engineering changes.
• Provide PCB placement and feasibility studies.
• Run simulations.
• Rollout and support the solutions to PCB manufacturing and assembly houses.

Qualifications

• Technician or Bachelor’s in electronics/electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in PCB schematic entry and layout design with Mentor or equivalent.
• Familiar with analog layout techniques (e.g. shielding, low noise)
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Structured and independent working style.
• Business fluent German and fluent English communication skills.
