PMO (Project Management Office) Tools Engineer (automation, AI) (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for PMO processes and toolchains
• Configure, customize, and optimize Jira and Confluence to support project and portfolio management workflows
• Create and maintain an PMO-AI strategy and AI use cases for the PMO Team and train the team
• Develop scripts, integrations, and connectors using REST APIs (Jira, Confluence, Office 365, etc.)
• Implement workflow automation across tasks and processes
• Maintain and enhance PMO tooling landscape, ensuring stability, performance, and usability
• Support users with tooling expertise, troubleshooting, and best practice guidance
• Collaborate with PMO, IT, and engineering teams to translate process flows into technical solutions
• Keep up to date with industry PMO tooling trends

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• Experience in PMO environments, project management tooling, or enterprise tool administration is beneficial
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Advanced English and German language skills
• Experience with Office 365 automation & Atlassian Tools (Jira and Confluence)
• Experience with CoPilot, AI tooling
• Proficiency in scripting languages, Python preferred
