Hardware R&D Processes Expert (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Act as a process owner defining, implementing, and maintaining processes, standards, and guidelines across Hardware R&D
• Accountable for leading projects related to process improvements
• Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and user guides
• Contribute to digital transformation and automation projects
• Conduct trainings and workshops for engineers and new hires
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Analyze and continuously improve Hardware R&D processes based on feedback, KPIs, and best practices
• Act as an interface between engineering, quality, and IT to align processes, tools, and data flows
• Support the selection, implementation, and optimization of engineering tools and process-related systems

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical field
• Several years of professional experience in CAD process engineering, CAD administration, or engineering methods
• Experience with PDM/PLM systems and their integration into engineering processes
• Proven experience in process definition, standardization, and optimization
• Solid understanding of product development workflows in an R&D environment
• Experience in cross-functional and international collaboration
• Structured and analytical way of working
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in interdisciplinary teams
• Advanced English and basic German language skills
