Expert Hardware Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Define, introduce, maintain, and continuously improve test strategies, methods and concepts for system level tests and ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results
• Plan, provide, commission, and maintain test systems and laboratory infrastructure & capacity
• Plan, coordinate, and execute hardware and system level tests including software together with internal customers
• Evaluate, document, and release test results and initiate root cause analyses where required
• Provide transparent communication on test status, risks, and deviations
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and applicable norms
• Support capacity planning and optimization of test environments and laboratory utilization
• Act as a technical interface between test lab, development, systems engineering, and project stakeholders

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable
• Several years hands-on experience in hardware testing, validation, or system level verification
• Advanced knowledge of test methodologies, measurement and test equipment, and development
• Good team, communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of automation hardware, data analysis tools or test result databases
• Advanced English and German language skills
