As ABB Robotics embarks on its journey as a standalone global leader in automation, we are looking for multiple Payroll Partners to steer our payroll operations through this transformative phase. You will be the guardian of payroll accuracy for our European Region, supporting respective c****luster **of countries: (1) Denmark, Estonia, Czechia, and Poland) and (2) Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania,, Slovakia and Slovenia, **ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time as we integrate new talent from the SoftBank Group acquisition.
You won't just be "doing" payroll; you will be managing the integrity of the ecosystem between Workday, our employees, and our Global Payroll Vendor.
This is a global role with preferably in Krak贸w, Poland or Madrid, Spain. The work model is hybrid or remote.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll cycles for your assigned region, acting as the primary point of contact for our outsourced payroll provider.

Perform rigorous audits of payroll inputs (joiners, leavers, adjustments, time & absence) within Workday to ensure data integrity before transmission to the vendor.

Execute second-level validation of gross-to-net and net-to-pay calculations, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and social security regulations.

Oversee the validation of Time & Attendance data to ensure seamless flow into the payroll engine.

Support the "carve-out" activities, helping to migrate legacy processes into the new global delivery model and vendor framework.

Act as the Tier 2 supports specialist for complex employee queries and vendor delivery failures, ensuring high satisfaction across the cluster.

Identify process gaps during the post-acquisition integration and drive standardizations across the regional cluster.

Act as a primary partner to all ABB Robotics local teams to represent payroll on cross-functional projects and deliver business value.
Qualifications:

5-8 years of hands-on payroll experience supporting respective regions, preferably within a high-growth or multinational environment.

Proven track record in a Shared Services (SSC) environment using a Global Vendor/Outsourced model.

Strong proficiency in **Workday (HCM/Time and system integrations) **is highly preferred.

Advanced ability to reconcile complex datasets and perform deep-dive audits on gross-to-net calculations.

Resilience in the face of change, a "consultative" approach to vendor management, and the ability to navigate a carve-out/integration.
