As an Engineering Manager, you work with the Product Team (around 6 Software Engineers and a Product Owner). Product Teams are grouped in a business domain called Customer Lifecycle & Engagement. Building on your experience in delivering software products and leading people, you coach your team on how to improve effectiveness. You also support individuals in defining their personal development strategy and help them execute it.
Main responsibilities

Take ownership of the successful delivery of the Product Team’s commitments by setting clear goals and expectations.

Maintain a high standard of technical excellence by promoting best practices and staying aligned with industry trends.

Create an inspiring environment with open communication and strong collaboration across the whole zooplus organization.

Ensure teams are aligned with zooplus business and technology strategy, operating model, and engineering guidelines.

Contribute to the development of strategic guidelines, as well as organizational and technical frameworks and processes.

Act as an agile driver and coach for the software delivery process.

Grow and develop motivated and qualified team members to meet business and technology expectations.

Actively participate in recruitment and retention to ensure a strong and balanced Product Team.

Collaborate with the Domain Engineering Manager to define product technology strategy and optimize costs.

Partner closely with the Product Owner to maximize the value delivered through technology.

Contribute hands-on to the products owned by the team when needed.
