Welcome to ZEISS – a company that combines innovation and responsibility! Our corporate functions are diverse and make a decisive contribution to the strategic orientation and sustainable success of ZEISS.
Your role
As the DLP Product Owner (f/m/x), you are responsible for the global Data Loss Prevention service that protects ZEISS information assets across cloud, endpoint, email, and collaboration platforms. You own the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle, ensuring reliable and compliant service delivery in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers. This role combines product ownership, service management, and project leadership—ideal for someone who enjoys shaping security services end‑to‑end without disciplinary leadership responsibilities.
Your responsibilities include:
Own and develop the DLP product roadmap aligned with domain strategy and business requirements
Ensure high‑quality, SLA‑compliant service delivery together with providers; serve as the top escalation point for operational issues
Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements and drive continuous product improvements
Oversee service performance, quality, KPIs, compliance (e.g., GDPR, CSOPs), and full ITSM process adherence
Ensure all service documentation and the Service Handbook remain up to date
Communicate service changes, roadmap updates, and operational status to stakeholders across the organization
Plan and lead DLP‑related projects of various sizes, including milestone definition, and controlling
Support benchmarking, internal audits, and security/compliance initiatives
Your profile
Proven experience with Data Loss Prevention technologies (e.g., Microsoft Purview DLP, Endpoint DLP, Cloud App Security, Email DLP)
Strong background in IT Service Management, product ownership, or service delivery for security‑critical services
Solid understanding of data protection, data classification, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, ISO27001, NIST)
Experience working with external providers and managing SLAs, KPIs, and service quality
Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure, prioritize, and drive complex topics
Excellent communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with global teams and translate technical content for non‑technical audiences
