What to expect

• Feature Development: You drive the development of new backend features using Java and Kotlin, leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.

• IoT & Innovation: You work on IoT development (Python), including our proprietary locking systems and data scripts.

• End-to-End Ownership: With our fully in-house stack (from invoicing to access systems), you take ownership across the entire lifecycle and are responsible for a wide range of services and see the impact of your work.

• Agile Collaboration: You work in an agile environment (SCRUM) in close alignment with our product team and external partners.

• DevOps Culture: You actively support and improve our DevOps processes and infrastructure.

• Interdisciplinary Projects: You provide technical support to other departments and collaborate on diverse projects across the company.

Our expectations

• Tech-Forward Mindset: You already use AI-powered tools to enhance your coding workflow, or you are eager to learn how to do so. We actively encourage our team to use these technologies to optimize workflows and stay at the forefront of development.

• Technical Expertise: You have solid professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and Kotlin (essential).

• Cloud & Tools: Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), BitBucket, and Jira is a plus.

• Agile Mindset: You are familiar with agile software development processes and thrive in a Scrum environment.

• Versatility: You see yourself as an "all-rounder" who enjoys a broad spectrum of tasks - from new services to deep-dive technical problem solving.

• Soft Skills: You are a true team player with a high level of curiosity and a "hands-on" mentality. You take full ownership of your topics.

• Communication: Excellent English language skills. German is an advantage but not a requirement.

The gross annual salary for this position starts at EUR 53.000.-. Your actual compensation will depend on your individual qualifications and experience and will be discussed with you personally.
