As our International Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and scaling yfood’s retail presence across a dynamic portfolio of high-potential markets. With strong businesses already established in the UK, Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland, we are now accelerating our expansion across Europe to drive further growth in international retail.
You’ll shape the sales agenda, manage key distributor and retail relationships, and deliver strong commercial results by growing our footprint with smart, locally tailored strategies. You will work cross-functionally with marketing and operations to ensure brand consistency, strong commercial performance, and seamless execution across markets.

Drive sales growth by scaling our international retail business - country scope depending on your experience
Own the commercial agenda in each market - including distribution, assortment, placement, pricing, trade terms, promotional planning - to drive commercial performance and accelerate growth
Develop and manage a network of distributors, retail partners, and sales agencies, ensuring executional excellence and brand consistency
Be part of commercial negotiations and supporting in establishing pricing structures, trade terms, and promotional plans in line with company goals
Partner closely with Operations to ensure smooth international logistics, inventory planning, and order fulfillment
Collaborate with Marketing to tailor market activation plans based on local dynamics and market maturity while maintaining global consistency
Track performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activity to drive continuous improvement
Reporting & forecasting: Provide regular performance updates, sales forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
In a Nutshell
We’re looking for a hands-on, sales-driven commercial mindset with the energy to drive growth and the focus to deliver results. You combine structured thinking with entrepreneurial hustle, and you know what it takes to win in retail across multiple countries.
Bring 3+ years of retail sales experience in FMCG, ideally with an international background in retail and distributor/partner management
Have a track record of growing retail sales - ideally across both Western and Eastern Europe
Have experience with retail P&L ownership and a strong understanding of distributor models, route-to-market strategies, and trade marketing
Are a strong negotiator and relationship-builder, comfortable managing commercial discussions with stakeholders
Understand how to build and adapt sales strategies to diverse market realities, and how to lead through partners
Are willing to travel internationally for occasional market visits/partner meetings
Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth teams - and bring a strong sense of ownership and ambition
Excellent academic degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field
Excellent communication skills (C1) in English & German (additional languages are a plus)
